iAngels is happy to announce a new partnership with Duke University’s TAMID Investment Group.  We’ve made it possible that iAngels’ portfolio companies and investors are now eligible to receive pro bono consulting with Duke University’s top business organization, after having a great run this summer with their very smart students participating in our internship program.

About TAMID Investment Group

TAMID Investment Group is a nationwide American business organization that connects university students with Israeli companies to provide experiential learning opportunities.  Each TAMID university chapter works directly with companies to provide pro bono consulting and summer internship placements. Founded in 2008, TAMID has since expanded to 51 American chapters.

Duke University is one of the highest-esteemed American universities, particularly renowned for its Economics department and plethora of respected alumni.  TAMID at Duke is one of most exclusive business organizations on campus, maintaining a partnership with Deloitte. Additionally, each Duke TAMID member undergoes a multi-stage application and interview process, followed by an extensive semester-long education process.

How it works

Duke TAMID provides consulting in teams of 4 to 6 students for the duration of the semester.  Duke TAMID may choose to take on numerous projects with a given company across multiple semesters.  Common project themes include: business development, margin improvement, market research, demographics research, deck preparation, M&A research, and coding projects.  Duke TAMID typically take on around 15 projects per semester; as space is limited, Duke TAMID selects projects that provide the most mutual value for both consultants and companies.
